Paula’s Jewelry – Return, Refund & Exchange Policy

Effective as of November 3, 2025

1. Policy Statement

All sales are final. Once a purchase is completed, we do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges except as set forth below in Section 4. By making a purchase at Paula’s Jewelry, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

2. Disclosure & Visibility

We maintain this policy in a clear, conspicuous manner in our store:
– A printed notice is displayed at or near the point of sale.
– The policy is included on each sales receipt or invoice.
– Our sales staff inform customers of this policy prior to purchase.

3. Scope

This policy applies to all items purchased at Paula’s Jewelry, whether in-store or custom-ordered, unless a different written policy is explicitly provided at time of sale.

4. Exceptions — Defective Goods & Warranties

Notwithstanding Section 1, Massachusetts law requires that defective merchandise must still be addressed by the seller. Accordingly:

(a) If a purchased item is found to be defective, you may return it for repair, replacement, or store credit (no cash refunds) in accordance with Massachusetts law.
(b) You must notify Paula’s Jewelry of any defect within 7 days of purchase, provide proof of purchase, and return the item in substantially the same condition.
(c) This exception does not apply merely because you changed your mind, don’t like the item, or want a different size or design.

5. Custom Orders / Special Services

Items that are manufactured or ordered specifically for you are strictly non-returnable and non-exchangeable, except for defects as described in Section 4.

6. Refunds

Except for defective goods as outlined in Section 4, no cash refunds will be issued. All sales are final.

7. Transaction Errors / Cancellations

In the event of a pricing error, mis-ringing, or other mistake by Paula’s Jewelry, we reserve the right to cancel the sale, correct the error, or offer a refund at our discretion.

8. Proof of Purchase

A purchase receipt or invoice is required for any claim under Section 4.

9. Applicable Law & Consumer Protection

This policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Massachusetts Consumer Protection Act (Chapter 93A) requires clear disclosure of refund policies and guarantees consumer rights regarding defective merchandise.

10. Policy Changes

Paula’s Jewelry reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time.
